Software Release Manager

Job Description   Summary: Under direct supervision and following standard procedures, performs all configuration engineering tasks associated with product release, plans the development of product builds and build releases, develops and maintains processes and procedures to support product builds, develops tools to assist in build automation, and monitors, records and controls change to maintain product integrity by performing the following duties:   Essential Duties and Responsibilities   1. Plans the development of assigned product builds and build releases. a. Maintains all the source code for the product b. Builds, creates and manages code deployment to all the environments c. Manages risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality 2. Coordinates distribution of product releases a. Establishes and maintains the release schedule for all environments b. Coordinates with Change Management and collaborates with Operations to execute changes c. Coordinates data impacting deployments with EDW team d. Coordinates with software developers, configurations analysts, and other technology team members both internal and external, to identify configuration items e. Maintains the release schedule for all core services and ensures alignment across key partners and vendors f. May participate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks 3. Prepares and maintains release configuration documentation a. Audits documentation to ensure release preparation b. Prepares and control product release snapshots c. Communicates release details and schedules to Business Units as required 4. Develops automated build scripts where applicable to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms                    5. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
